Autism Partnership Foundation (APF)
APF is committed to making a difference in the lives of children with autism and aims to raise funds to generate public awareness about autism, to advocate ABA treatments and intervention for autism sufferers and to provide support for children with ASD and their families in Asia. The Foundation’s Aoi Pui School is Hong Kong’s only school catering to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). More than 100 students enrolled in the School in past years have been able to transfer to mainstream schools. Funding from last year’s Charity Cup enabled APF to engage 3 therapists and provide free Intensive ABA One-Month Services for autistic children. To date, 12 children have completed the treatments, 66 have applied for the services and 36 students remain on a waiting list. The Funding has also enabled APF to provide Weekly Workshops for parents of autistic children. These programmes will continue through end-2016.
